HOW THE
YARD RUNS

Every download is a shipment. It gets weighed, routed, verified and paid, in that order. Here is exactly what happens between your file and your balance.

01

The crate goes up

Drag a file in or paste a link. The upload starts at once, at whatever speed your connection gives — nothing is shaped and nothing is queued, whatever the account is worth. A part that fails retries by itself. Close the tab on a browser upload and it starts again, so a large file wants a window you can leave alone; paste a URL instead and the fetch runs on our side and resumes if the source stalls.

UPLOAD SPEED: UNSHAPED BROWSER UPLOAD: KEEP THE TAB OPEN REMOTE FETCH: RESUMES ON ITS OWN
02

It goes on the wire

The share link appears when the last byte lands, never before — a crate still uploading has nothing to serve. Delete a file and it stops being served immediately, with no cached copy anywhere still handing it out. A download that drops resumes where it stopped.

LINK READY WHEN THE UPLOAD FINISHES DELETE TAKES EFFECT AT ONCE DOWNLOADS RESUME WHERE THEY STOPPED
03

The visitor walks in

A share link is a funnel, not a direct link. A visitor passes 2 ad pages with a 5-second wait each, enforced on the server and not just counted down in the browser, and then gets a signed ticket for the bytes. The ticket allows 3 streams at once and 1.5× the file's size in total, which is room for one resume and not room for a second person.

04

A download gets counted

A haul counts when 90% of the file has reached the visitor, added up across every request they made. No clock is involved and there is no minimum size. One credit per visitor per 24 hours across the whole site, not per file, so the first publisher to convert someone that day is the one paid. At most 4 devices behind one address are credited in that window. Requests from 22 known datacentre networks are refused outright, before any bytes move.

05

The rate is applied

The rate is set by the downloader's country at the moment of the request, never your own, and the amount is written onto the event once. Mixed traffic averages into an effective CPM you can see per file, per country and per referrer. A later change to the card does not reach a day that has closed, and nothing is clawed back.

Money leaves the building

Earnings mature 7 days after the day they were earned and then become withdrawable. Request any amount from $5.00; a reviewer settles it by hand, so there is no scheduled run and no fixed hour. If a request is cancelled, the reason and whether funds were restored are shown in its history.

Storage is earned, not granted

A new account starts at 5 GB and climbs to 50 GB on the strength of qualified downloads over the trailing 30 days. Promotion is immediate; a drop takes 90 days below the threshold and then falls one step. A file nobody downloads is deleted after 45 days, and one under 10 downloads after 100. Both are true whether or not it has unpaid earnings on it, so the files screen warns you before the deadline.
